The idea of Waldorf Wise arose out of the many comments and requests that have come from our followers of our Waldorf Ways Facebook and Instagram pages. There was an overwhelming desire for support and training from a qualified and experienced teacher to support those who are homeschooling. Waldorf Wise has been set up to support homeschoolers and teachers to deliver the best quality Waldorf Education possible. Our aim is to enable all Educators with skills and knowledge to develop and create truly authentic Waldorf lessons for their pupils. Waldorf Wise will support parents who are homeschooling to develop personalised lesson plans, best practice literacy and numeracy plans and to find joy in their teaching. Along with personalised mentoring we want to work with groups to build community and develop networks for homeschoolers and teachers. Authentic Waldorf Education needs to be available to all who wish to access it, with a clear path of study, self-development, curriculum and lesson planning.

“Donovan has a kind authority, genuine warmth and respect for the children and a twinkling sense of humour. Through imaginative and inspiring lessons in a classroom filled with art and beauty, his students develop excellent work ethics, and all are keen to do their best.”

I have worked extensively in all areas of a Waldorf School, not only as a teacher but in School Management and as Chair of the College of Teachers. I have worked closely with teachers as a Mentor over the years and delivered Inset Day programmes in Teacher Development and Curriculum Development. Building community amongst teachers based on anthroposophy is one of my greatest ideals, for through this community we can build and develop within the framework of understanding.
"Offering an authentic Waldorf Education training platform online is very important to me as Waldorf Education training is lacking for those who are not able to access full or part time training courses.”
